Mufti Abdul Baseer is Islamic scholar and accounts professional. He builds and maintains Baseer Tools and is responsible for what it publishes. This page says what he writes about, what he does not, and where to find it. The about page describes the project and the editorial policy describes how pages are sourced and checked.
What he covers
The tools and guides under his name are on business documents and day-to-day accounting for small organisations in Pakistan and the Gulf, and on Islamic planning tools that count and subtract from figures you enter, such as zakat, the Hijri calendar, missed prayers, estate arithmetic and the cost of Hajj and Umrah. They are listed by group:
- Business documents: 8 tools.
- Accounting & finance tools: 8 tools.
- Masjid, madrasa & Islamic tools: 9 tools.
His guides are listed below. 13 guides carry his name.
- What a Pakistan sales tax invoice must contain
- Invoice vs quotation vs receipt vs challan
- Amounts in words: lakh and crore
- Daily cash book and trial balance basics
- Shop counter: billing, stock and udhaar
- How UAE gratuity works
- Resignation vs termination
- Qatar gratuity explained
- UAE final settlement checklist
- Realistic Umrah cost from Pakistan
- Saving for Hajj on any income
- Umrah in Ramadan: why it costs more
- Masjid and madrasa record keeping
What he does not cover
He is not a United States tax professional, a labour lawyer or a medical professional, and he does not issue religious rulings through this site. Pages on United States tax, retirement, Medicare and overtime (17 guides, and the tools they link to) are published under the name Baseer Tools Editorial, and the tools say what they do not cover. The Islamic tools are calculations, not fatwas: for a ruling on your own situation, ask a qualified scholar in person.
