Itemises the trip by country of departure, lets you type a real quote over any line, and turns the total into a monthly savings plan — while saying plainly that the starting figures are planning estimates, not live prices.
In short
Umrah and Hajj costs are made of separate items: flights, hotels, visa, transport, food, insurance and an operator fee, or for Hajj a single package price. This calculator estimates each one by country, season and package level, adds them up, and works out how much to save each month. Every figure can be changed.
A planning estimate, not a quote. Prices change with the season, airline, hotel distance and operator, and are not live. Confirm the full cost and what is included with a licensed operator, and book through the official Nusuk platform where required.

How to use it
Choose Umrah or Hajj, the country you travel from, the package level and the number of pilgrims.
For Umrah, set the nights away and whether you travel in or out of Ramadan.
Look at the cost lines and type the figures from your operator’s quote over any of them.
To plan savings, enter what you have saved and the months until the trip, or the amount you can save each month.
Copy the summary or download the budget sheet as an image to share with your family.
How it calculates
Umrah is built from nightly hotel and food rates multiplied by your nights and package level, plus flights, visa, local transport, operator fee, insurance and the Nusuk package. Ramadan raises flights and hotels only. Hajj uses one package price for the level you choose, plus spending money and insurance. The cost for one pilgrim is multiplied by the number of pilgrims, and the savings plan divides what is still to save by the months, rounded up.
For example, a 10-night economy Umrah from Pakistan outside Ramadan starts from flights of PKR 130,000, a hotel of PKR 100,000, a visa of PKR 22,300, transport of PKR 18,000, an operator fee of PKR 25,000, food of PKR 25,000, insurance of PKR 8,000 and a Nusuk package of PKR 15,000, which is PKR 343,300 for one pilgrim. Saving for it over 12 months with PKR 43,300 already set aside means putting away PKR 25,000 a month. These are starting estimates; replace any line with your own quote.
Who should use it
Families deciding whether and when they can afford Umrah or Hajj
People comparing a quote from a travel operator with a realistic itemised cost
Anyone setting a monthly saving target for a pilgrimage
Who should not use this
Anyone who needs an exact price; only a licensed operator can quote one for specific dates
Pilgrims looking for a ruling on Hajj or Umrah; ask a qualified scholar
Anyone applying under a government Hajj scheme who needs its official fee; use the ministry’s published figure
Limitations
The starting figures are planning estimates set from published ranges in October 2026. They are not live prices and move with the season, airline and hotel distance.
Figures for countries other than Pakistan are rougher than the Pakistan ones, and currency changes between now and your travel date are not allowed for.
It leaves out passport and vaccination costs, gifts and shopping, and anything particular to one operator’s package.
The savings plan assumes a steady amount each month with no profit or inflation.

Common questions
How much does Umrah cost from Pakistan?
A published 2026 guide puts a full trip with flights, hotels, visa, food and insurance at PKR 220,000 to PKR 500,000 or more per person, depending on the season, airline and hotel. Economy packages outside Ramadan are quoted at about PKR 220,000 to PKR 300,000, and Ramadan is considerably more. The calculator starts from one example and lets you change every line.
How much does Hajj cost?
Hajj is sold as a package and costs far more than Umrah. The Pakistan government scheme for 2026 was announced at an estimated PKR 1.15 to 1.25 million per pilgrim, with a long package of 38 to 42 days and a short one of 20 to 25 days. From the UK, packages commonly run from about £4,500 for economy to well over £7,000 for premium, and from the US from about $8,000 upwards.
Why is Umrah so expensive in Ramadan?
Demand is highest then, and it is reported in an authentic hadith that Umrah in Ramadan equals Hajj in reward. Flights and hotels near the Haram can cost two or three times their usual price, most of all in the last ten nights. Travelling just outside Ramadan is usually the biggest saving.
Is the Umrah visa fee included in packages?
Often it is not. The Saudi Umrah visa fee is about SAR 300, and mandatory health insurance and the Nusuk arrangements are charged on top. This calculator lists them as separate lines you can edit, so check what your operator includes.
How should I plan my savings?
Enter what you have already saved and the months until you want to travel, and it shows the monthly amount needed. Or enter what you can set aside each month and it shows how many months that takes. Update it after you get a real quote.
Are these prices guaranteed?
No. They are starting estimates for planning and are not live. Always confirm the final cost, the inclusions and the required Nusuk arrangements with a licensed operator before you pay.
