Shop billing

A full counter billing screen with stock, expiry for pharmacies, credit (udhaar) tracking and 80mm receipts that needs no sign-up or server: the whole shop is saved on your own device and works offline.

In short

Shop billing lets you search or scan a product, build a bill with discount and tax, take cash, card or credit, and print an 80mm receipt. Stock goes down with every sale, and low, out and expiring stock is flagged. Your products and bills are saved only on this device, so nothing is uploaded.

Your whole shop is saved on this device. Add your shop name and logo once, then your products, stock and bills are remembered here. Nothing is uploaded. Add this tool to your phone or computer for one-tap access.

How to use it

  1. Step 1, Shop details: enter your shop name, address, phone and logo. They print on every receipt and are remembered on this device.
  2. Step 2, Items: type the name, choose how you sell it (kilo, piece, litre…), then the price and how many you have. Atta, rice and oil choose the right unit by themselves. Try the sample items to practise.
  3. Step 3, Billing: tap an item. For kilos tap ¼, ½, 1, 2 or 5, or type the rupees (for example Rs 200) and the weight is worked out. For pieces use the plus and minus buttons.
  4. Press Pay, choose cash, JazzCash or Easypaisa, card or udhaar, press Done, then print the receipt or send it on WhatsApp.
  5. Use Stock for deliveries, Sales and udhaar to reprint bills and follow up customers who owe you, and Backup to save a copy of your shop.

How it calculates

Each line is quantity times rate. A percentage discount is taken off the subtotal, or a flat amount up to the subtotal, then tax is added on what remains. All sums are in whole paisa, so the lines, discount, tax and total always add up exactly. Selling an item takes the quantity off its stock and writes a stock history entry.

For example, a bill of 2.5 kg of rice at 320 per kg and 1 packet of tea at 450 comes to 1,250.00. A 10% discount takes off 125.00, leaving 1,125.00, and 17% tax on that adds 191.25, so the total is 1,316.25. Paying 1,500 gives 183.75 change. Selling the items takes 2.5 kg and 1 packet off stock. The items and prices are made up; yours come from your own product list.

Who should use it

  • General stores, grocers and kiryana shops that bill by piece, kilogram or litre
  • Small retail shops with models and sizes, and pharmacies that track batch and expiry
  • Anyone who wants billing on a phone, tablet or PC without paying for software or signing up

Who should not use this

  • Shops with several counters that must share one stock count live; this keeps one shop on one device
  • Businesses that must report sales to a tax authority through a connected POS system; this makes receipts, not filings
  • Anyone who cannot keep a backup: the data lives in this browser, so clearing browser data erases it unless you have downloaded a backup

Limitations

  • Everything is saved in this browser on this device. It does not sync between devices; use Backup to move a shop.
  • There is one shop and no staff logins or user permissions.
  • Receipts print through the browser’s print dialog, so the receipt printer needs a normal driver. A printer that accepts only raw ESC/POS commands will not work.
  • Amounts are in PKR only.
  • Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. Clearing your browser data also removes the saved profile.

Common questions

Where is my shop data stored?
Only in this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded to Baseer Tools or anywhere else. Download a backup from Settings, because clearing browser data or changing phone would remove it.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, once you have opened it. Add it to your phone or computer from the install panel on this page and it opens like an app.
Can I use a barcode scanner?
Most USB and Bluetooth scanners type the code and press Enter. Click the search box, scan, and the product with that exact barcode is added to the bill.
How do I print on a thermal receipt printer?
Choose Print receipt and pick the receipt printer in the browser’s print dialog. The receipt is laid out for 80mm paper.
What if I make a mistake on a bill?
Every bill is shown for checking before it is charged. If you still spot a mistake afterwards, open the bill and choose Cancel this bill. The items go back into stock and the bill stays in the list marked as cancelled, so the numbers never have a gap.
Can I use it for a restaurant or fast-food shop?
Yes. In Shop details, open More options and turn on Restaurant or fast-food mode. Every bill then prints a big token number that starts again each day, and you can mark it dine-in, takeaway or delivery, and add a delivery charge with one tap. The receipt has your logo, NTN and STRN, a two-line item list, a bold grand total with the amount in words, and a WhatsApp QR code.
Does the receipt work on a 58mm printer?
Yes. Choose 58mm or 80mm in Shop details, under More options. The receipt resizes and prints to that width.
Is this an FBR or PRA tax invoice?
No. The receipt prints the NTN and STRN you enter and the tax rate you choose, but it is not connected to FBR or a provincial authority and has no fiscal invoice number. If you must use an integrated POS system, use that system.
What is a credit sale?
A credit (udhaar) sale is a bill the customer has not paid yet. It needs a customer name and is listed as credit until you mark that the customer has paid.
