Distribution register generator

Keeps a dated recipient-by-recipient register with a blank signature or thumb column, a total in words and as many pages as you need — and remembers your entries in this browser so you can add to it over weeks.

In short

A distribution register is the written record of who received what, and when. This generator lists each recipient with a date, detail and amount, leaves a signature column for them to sign, totals the column, and writes the total in words. It runs over as many A4 pages as needed, exports PDF, sheet or image, and uploads nothing.

How to use it

  1. Add your institution’s logo, name and address. They are remembered in this browser.
  2. Give the register a title and, if you like, the period or occasion it covers.
  3. Choose whether you are recording money or a quantity such as kilograms of meat or ration packs.
  4. Add each recipient with a date, name, detail and amount, or paste rows from a spreadsheet.
  5. Print the PDF and have each recipient sign or give a thumb impression, then sign the Prepared by and Verified by lines.

How it calculates

The total is the sum of the amounts you enter, added in whole paisa so a long column never drifts. In money mode the total is also written in words, using lakh and crore for PKR. In quantity mode the amounts are added and shown with the unit you type. Rows with nothing typed in are not printed or counted.

In the example above, eight recipients are listed with a date, name, detail and amount each. The amounts add up to PKR 112,000.00, written in words under the table, and every row has a blank signature or thumb-impression cell. The names and amounts are made up; yours are exactly what you enter.

Who should use it

  • Masjid and madrasa committees that distribute zakat, qurbani meat or ration and keep a notebook record
  • Small welfare groups that need a signed, dated list to show their donors or committee
  • Anyone running a one-off distribution who wants a clean record with a total

Who should not use this

  • Anyone who needs this to decide who may receive zakat or qurbani meat; that is a question for a qualified scholar, and the tool only records your decision
  • Registered charities that must keep audited accounts or file returns; this makes a printable record, not books of account
  • Anyone who would put ID numbers or other sensitive personal details in it; you do not need them to use the register

Limitations

  • The tool records what you enter. It does not check eligibility, amounts or totals against any rule.
  • Entries are remembered in this browser only. Anyone using the same browser can see them, and clearing browser data removes them.
  • A register holds up to 2,000 rows. Start a new one for the next period.
  • The PDF is drawn with standard PDF fonts. Urdu or other non-Latin text cannot be drawn into the PDF yet; use the Image export for those.
  • Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server. Clearing your browser data also removes the saved profile.

Common questions

Does this decide who can receive zakat or qurbani meat?
No. It only records the distribution you have already decided on. Eligibility is for you and your scholar to settle.
Can I record meat or ration instead of money?
Yes. Choose Quantity, type a unit such as kg or bags, and the column and total are shown in that unit.
Are the names I enter uploaded or shared?
No. The register is built on your own device and there is no link that carries your entries. They are remembered in this browser only, and one button clears them.
